The Story Behind the Rug

From the start, our client had a strong vision — a desire for a rich, elegant carpet to match her sophisticated interior. But the room already had many luxurious elements. During initial sketches, we noticed that an overly ornate rug would overwhelm the space. Together with the client, we refined the design, reducing visual noise while keeping depth and detail. Our designers gently “calmed the fire” of excessive decor, offering a balance between elegance and restraint. After several iterations and conversations, we presented a final sketch. The client, still unsure, waited to see the real thing. Once the rug was laid — silence. Then: “WOW.” She was in love.
