CARPET WITH TWO TEXTURES – SAKURA AND BUTTERFLIES
The carpet design was created by the designers of the Carpet Studio, inspired by a photo of artistic textured plaster on P-interest.
This is yet another idea for carpet design. To give the carpet a sculptural quality, two different textures and three pile heights were used. The neutral gray background is made with a calm gray color using a cut loop with a pile height of 12mm, as well as the white branches and flowers of the sakura.
These are separated only by a relief cut along the edges of the outline. The dark gray and black sakura branches have a different texture – an uncut loop (boucle) with a height of 10mm, which pushes these elements into the background.
On the foreground, a bright butterfly and several multicolored sakura flowers stand out, made with a cut loop pile height of 18mm.
The design of the carpet is concise and fully complete.
